The best of the East and West truly meet at the East West Cafe and Restaurant in Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. Proprietor Sam Shaboon and his attentive staff bless us with nutritious and delicious International cuisines woven together with the flavors of the Middle East. It is the custom of the Middle East people to always bless the food, then sit down together to talk and feast. Once inside the door you'll soon discover why so many health oriented people dine at these oasis's. The East West Cafe uses the finest, most natural ingredients mother earth has to offer. The wholesome pancakes are prepared with organic flour, blue corn and served with Canadian maple syrup. Appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, vegetarian, chicken, and pasta entrees along with the catch of the day are served with a variety of hot and cold drinks, fresh squeezed fruit juices, smoothies, tea, beer, wine and organic coffee drinks.

Soups include light summer or hearty winter vegetarian (no oil, no dairy & no meat) and colorful garden fresh salads. Soup and salad $6.95. Homemade pastries, muffins or Baklava and a piping hot cup of organic herb tea really hits the spot. The Wraps are especially popular. Another favorite is the Mediterranean Platter of Homus, Baba ghanouj, tabouleh, dolmas, yalanji, falafel patties and whole wheat pita bread. If you have special dietary needs be sure to let the staff know. The East West Cafe is a good bet for a nutritious lunch or a long drawn out weekend dinner or brunch for lovers.
