    Its not fancy - its just GOOD!, states the commercial on the local radio station. Its true and many state Sea Pal Cove Restaurant serves the best Fish and Chips on the Mendocino Coast. Sea Pal Cove is located in the heart of the working Noyo Harbor in Fort Bragg and features outdoor seating overlooking the harbor, where you can watch fishing boats come and go throughout the day and night. They are dog-friendly, so go ahead and bring your four-legged friends. Sea Pal is open seven days a week, 11am to 10pm (11pm on the weekends), and are a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. If its chilly out or if you like they will get a bonfire going in the deck firepit. There is a bonfire every night and a seasonal tent over the dockside outdoor dining area.

    They are best known for their fish and chips and clam chowder, but they also have an extensive tap beer list (they have 18 taps). Favorites include: Fish & Chips, Prawns & Chips {with wild Jumbo Prawns $20}, Fish Sandwiches, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers {from$10}, BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers, BLTs, Grilled Cheese, Clam Chowder {bowl $7}, Chili, Fries, Fried Desserts (Snickers, Milky Ways, Twinkies) and Fried Cheesecake. They pride themselves on the ingredients they use – great fish fried in canola oil (no trans fats), and their beef is all grass fed and grain finished. You’re going to love it here.

    Within walking distance is Schnaubelt Distillery where crafted spirits are created on site in the heart of Noyo Harbor in the old in the old Noyo Ice Company. The tasting Room is open Thur-Sun, 1pm to 7pm. You can set up a private tour and tasting! And yes they are also dog friendly! In the cozy and sheltered interior you can taste hand made batches of Vodka, Gin, light & dark Rum, Candy Cap Mushroom Rum & Wiskey. Sea Pal Cove and Schnaubelt Distillery are located a short walk from each other.
